Is the Dental network my insurance company?
No, DenteMax is not an insurance company. DenteMax is a Preferred Provider Network of independent dentists who have agreed to accept a set fee schedule when receiving payment for dental services. When you choose a DenteMax dentist, you can save on out-of-pocket expenses.
How do I find a DenteMax provider?
Please visit the Locate a Provider page of the member site to find a network provider near you.
How do I make my first appointment?
Once you have found a participating DenteMax dentist, please call their office and let them know that you are a DenteMax member. You may need to show your ID card at your first appointment. So be sure to bring it with you.
How do I find out what dental services are covered?
During your appointment with a DenteMax dentist, ask the dentist to let you know what services are covered and the fee schedule associated with the service.
Do I have to remain with the same dentist after I choose one?
No, you may switch participating providers at any time with no waiting periods or forms to fill out.
If my dentist is not participating with DenteMax, how can I get him/her to join?
Contact your dentist and advise him/her that you now have DenteMax. Ask if he/she would be willing to join. If they are interested, simply have them contact DenteMax at 800-752-1547.
